The Little Shop of flowers × WONDER FULL LIFE @droog
2025.6.28 Saturday 11:00 – 17:00
Botanical pop-up in Amsterdam
For the first time in Amsterdam, The Little Shop of Flowers and WONDER FULL LIFE bring their celebrated Japanese collaboration to The White Space @droogamsterdam.
2020年の春よりThe Little Shop of flowersと共に始めた、小さな循環。
The Little Shop of flowersの壱岐ゆかりさんと、1日限りの特別なイベントをアムステルダムのdroogで開催する事となりました。
ワークショップやインスタレーション、ボタニカルダイのプロダクトに加えてWONDER FULL LIFEのコレクションが並びます。
At The Little Shop of Flowers, discarded blooms are not seen as waste but reborn through botanical dyeing into “Little Gifts” —
dresses, blankets, and kitchen cloths that carry the seasons’ spirit.
Wonderfullife is a team dedicated to reviving disappearing botanical and cultural beauty through the power of Japanese craftsmanship. In an age where things vanish at incredible speed, they give new life to what is being lost by transforming it into forms that suit our modern lifestyles—allowing each forgotten “beautiful” to shine again.
Together with The Little Shop of Flowers—who celebrates the art of bringing “mottainai” (the beauty of what’s almost lost) back to life—Wonderfullife will host a special one-day event featuring a display and sale of their works, along with hands-on workshops.
This collaborative event captures the full cycle of life: from being alive, to fading away, and ultimately being reborn.
Just like flowers, we breathe new life into fading treasures, reviving forgotten kimono obis and preserving the beauty of what would otherwise disappear.
Finding life in what fades — that is our ikigai.
